As a german tourist on a motorbike tour in england, I stayed in Oxford when I got a pain in my back.
It was an emergency case for me, so I went to the John Redcliffe.
After 2 hours waiting, Doctor Bulstrode came to me, listening with patience my answers to his questions and my pain.
A very friendly man, who makes then a careful medical examination.
His diagnosis was absolutely right and his german
language knowledge very good.
Thank you very much, Doc....
I unfortunately cut my head very badly on the tailgate of my car early morning. I managed to stem the bleeding made worse by the fact that i am on warfarin and after my wife had dressed we drove to the John Radcliffe.
After giving my details to one of the Receptionists I was told to post the form with details through a post box in a nearby door. I then expected a lengthy wait but within 5 minutes a nurse who introduced herself was attending to me.
Unfortunately although the nurse gave me her name I was not able to remember it due to my condition.
I was very well cared for over the next two hours having constant obsevation and stitches to my wound.
Mr Bulstrode came to see me and advised that in view of my injury I would require a scan. This he said would be in about 10 minutes, This was in fact about 15 minutes but was within my personal expectation of up to an hour.
The scan fortunately held no problems and after further obsevation I was allowed to leave the hospital.
I have nothing but praise for the treatment that I received.
Positive attitude, really nice man, friendly and happy to help!
Exemplary.
Doctor Bulstrode was very kind and caring and soon made me feel at ease with his smile. His diagnosis re-assured me at a time when I was very worried and he quickly helped to arrange the relevant scans and tests I needed. I'm very happy that I saw Doctor Bulstrode.
